Size of Print Job explodes when printing through terminal services(for one user)

We have an office set-up with users connected to one of 3 terminal servers.  2 are running Server 2008 r2, one is still on Server 2003 due to the limitations of a business application.  When one user prints to any printer whether it be a network printer, redirected, or locally installed, the print job size explodes in the que.  We had been troubleshooting why he prints so much slower than everyone else no matter what printer it goes to.  When he prints, a 2mb .pdf will blow up to around 80mb in the que and take quite a while to print.  He forwarded the same .pdf to another user in the office and they printed it to the same printer logged on to the same terminal server and the size did not increase from 2mb and printed much quicker.

I was unable to find much on print job file sizes getting larger but after much troubleshooting this seems to be the route to take.  Do you know if it would be something with his AD user settings, terminal service settings, registry settings on his computer?
