Thought I'd start a new thread since the applicable one has been marked answered, even though it doesn't have a working solution.
I'm using Server 2008 with Win7 clients. When I send a fax from the client, the fax doesn't show up in the Server fax console Outbox. The only place the fax shows is in the console outbox of the client who sent it.
Additionally, when the client fax is successful, the server will send out the confirmation fax and the fax will be archived in the archive folder, but it will not show up on the Sent Items folder of the Server's fax console. Again it only shows on the console of the client.
This makes it impossible to see the total queue of outgoing faxes, and inconvenient to view the past fax activity to confirm that work has been completed.
I followed the configuration instructions in this Kb (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2217044) and it didn't solve the problem. I enabled both the client and the server fully, and neither show each others activity. Additionally, I tried to apply the hotfix, but received a message that it was not applicable to my server or clients.
So I'm left frustrated and looking for a solution. Anyone got one?
