I like the fact that when I move from the office to home my default printer changes without me paying any attention to it. The problem comes in where I have more than 1 printer in the office and Location-Aware Printing decides my default should be something other than what I want it to be. This problem seems to be even worse if I have printers added in different sites in the same domain. Regardless of what site I'm in, this feature seems to collect all the sites under the one %domain%.com category. If I could disable this feature for that category, perfect.
So my first question: is there a way of disabling "Location-Aware Printing" for specific networks?
If that is not possible then disabling "Location-Aware Printing" completely may be the way to go ... which leads on to my second question: I can see from the link below that "Location-Aware Printing" can be disabled by setting the HKCU\Printers\Defaults\Disabled registry key to 1. Is there an equivalent setting in Group Policy by default?
Thanks in advance for any assistance,
Mark.
