When trying to manage the print queues, under the print management window, the printers do not appear. Under the Drivers, Forms, Ports and Deployed Printers (printers used under printing preferences) all items appear normal.
End User printing, adding/removing a printer at this point is not effected. A user can select a printer published in AD and add it to their device. Just the management of the printer device (I cannot modify the queue, security group, ports, etc.).
After some time Binging, Googling, etc., the following MS updates effected the Print Management GUI but are not installed nor have they been: KB2995388, KB3034348, 3139649. This has been verified by command prompt and programs and features. The DNS A record is present per other troubleshooting documents indicate to verify.
When the print server was set up over a year ago, the printers always appeared. This just occurred a few weeks ago and we run out of options. Could there be another KB that was recently made available to could cause the issue or another undocumented issue?
