Greetings,
Our organization wishes to migrate our physical Windows 2003 print server to a Windows 2008 R2 VM. All of our printers are HP. The print queues on the 2003 server are all using HP's UPD PCL 6 v5.0 driver. I have determined how to migrate all the print
queues, retaining all the settings, however I also wish to update all the HP print queues to the latest HP UPD and add 64-bit support. When I do the migration, using Printbrm.exe, it migrates everything that I want however it
also brings over the old driver. Is there any easy method to migrate the print queues as well as the specific queue settings from the Windows 2003 server over to the Windows 2008 server but not migrate the old print driver? I want the migrated queues on the
Windows 2008 server to utilize the latest HP 32 and 64 BIT HP UPD drivers. I would like to avoid updating each individual queue on the Windows 2008 server to update to the latest HP UPD version. I have read the information posted here -

The link doesn't appear to have a method to migrate the print queues in addition to updating the printer drivers.
Thanks
